
Angela Berardino, DenverSenior Director of Travel and Emerging Media
Bringing more than 12 years of public relations, marketing and communications experience to the Turner team, Angela oversees both the Travel and the Emerging Media teams. Angela’s deep background in travel and lifestyle branding allows her to integrate traditional PR with a wide variety of new channels. A self-professed geek, Angela utilizes social media and other emerging channels to help clients contribute to the global conversation, build relationships with their most vocal constituents, and communicate in a very personal way with their core audience.
Prior to Turner PR, Angela served as Senior Public Relations Manager for the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB), working closely with the City and the Mayor’s office on media relations for the more than 20,000 global press that attended the Democratic National Convention in August 2008. Before joining the DMCVB, she worked for RockResorts and Vail Resorts, publicizing luxury properties throughout the United States, and prior to that was part of the luxury travel company KSL Resorts. Angela is currently finishing up her MBA in Strategic Marketing from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. She is an active member of SATW (Society of American Travel Writers), PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), and TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange).

Which talent would you most like to have?
Teleportation. The idea of being able to travel anywhere in the world on a moment’s notice, without having to get in a car or on a plane, is very attractive
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
Atticus Finch, Huckleberry Finn, Hermione Granger…and if we go beyond literature - Indiana Jones, James Bond and the chick from Alias (Sydney Bristow)
What are your most memorable life moments?
Climbing Borobudur at sunrise, laughing so hard at some really bad joke that I fell out my chair in the middle of a big Thanksgiving dinner, meeting my god son for the first time, first kiss
