Jillian is a graduate of New York's Fashion Institute of Technology with additional journalism studies at Columbia University. She began her career as an assistant to Valerie Steele, curator and director of the Museum at FIT. Following her time at the museum, she held positions in fashion and editorial at Paper Magazine before taking on a freelance writing and fashion styling career. Additionally, Jillian has held positions in the marketing department at W Hotels Worldwide and in public relations for non-profit, Cotton Incorporated before developing her consulting career with public relations, social media and event projects in New York, Los Angeles, and Denver. Clients have included Y-3/adidas, Dennis Basso, Elise Overland, Fuse TV, the Museum of Natural History, Mercedes-Benz, and alice + olivia.
Jillian has become especially known for her expertise in the denim industry after founding acclaimed denim site, DenimHunt.com. Brands such as Prps, G-Star, Rock & Republic, and Mavi have all utilized Jillian's knowledge in a variety of special events, social media, and public relations activities. She has also been called upon by outlets such as Life & Style Weekly, Page Six Magazine, and the Sundance Channel's Big Ideas for a Small Planet for her knowledge of the denim market.
A recent transplant to Denver, CO, Jillian enjoys skiing, trail running, visits to the planetarium, international fashion media, and spending time in her hometown of Buffalo, Wyoming. She refuses to stop listening to 90’s grunge.

Stockpiling shoes at the Barney’s Warehouse Sale and stockpiling lift tickets throughout the snow season

I’d drop it all to be a rockstar, but my vocal skills are less than stellar. Karaoke was made for me

Spain, especially after Anthony Bourdain’s tour of the country on "No Reservations"

My first time meeting Carine Roitfeld of French Vogue. Moving from PA to WY to NYC to couch surfing to my current home in Denver. My first day at my first job at Paper Magazine
