Want to feel less stressed while traveling? Find some balance in all the airport crazyness? Make time for exercise while on the go?

Travelers can now find their inner calm at the Yoga Room at the San Francisco International Airport, the world’s first airport yoga studio. The Yoga Room is a peaceful space in which travelers can practice yoga, do breathing exercises or simply meditate. The space is located past the security checkpoint at SFO’s Terminal 2, giving you time to relax before boarding the plane.

As stated by a frequent flier in USA Today, “I think it should be in every airport, especially the terminals that I fly through. This would be such a great way for me to get my exercise in, get a little peace and quiet — a little Zen moment.”

As more and more airports are upgrading their passenger venues, the Yoga Room is the latest trend of how airports are trying to upgrade and improve airport experiences with healthy lifestyle options.

There is no doubt we will start seeing more yoga rooms popping up all around the country and I can’t wait!
