US PRO CYCLING CHALLENGE – A showcase for the beauty of the great state of Colorado

For anyone who has ever considered taking a vacation to Colorado, or wondered what it’s like to live in the Centennial State, just tune into the 2nd Annual US Pro Cycling Challenge taking place this week. It’s basically a weeklong advertorial for our great state. The route features seven stages taking place throughout the state, including Telluride, Crested Butte, Aspen, Boulder and Denver to name just a few highlights.

Although I LOVE watching the Tour de France, and its unarguably one of the toughest, and most beautiful backdrops for a grand stage race, there’s absolutely nothing like watching the best riders in the world race live in Colorado (a totally unbiased opinion, of course).

The race showcases the same roads and beautiful backdrops that make Colorado the ULTIMATE place to live for anyone who enjoys being outdoors. Our state contains more than 50 14,000-foot peaks, one-of-a-kind mountain towns, and most importantly, a shared mantra for our surroundings that you can actually feel on any given day.

If you’ve never been to Colorado, do the next best thing and watch the US Pro Challenge this week on TV…it won’t be long till you begin planning your own tour of Colorado.
