## 60K Day

Inspired? Bombas is just getting started. The brand recently launched an  amazing initiative called **[60k Day](https://bombas.com/pages/60kday)** in New York City. On any given night in NYC, there are an estimated 60,000 homeless men, women, and children. To help out, on February 28, Bombas brought together 60 of New York’s most influential companies to collectively donate 60,000 pairs of socks to 60 New York-based shelters and service centers. Socks are the number one most requested clothing item at homeless shelters – and it was this sobering fact that inspired [**Bombas**](http://www.bombas.com/) to kickstart its *One Pair Purchased, One Pair Donated* program.
