Clone Zone: Orphan Black Locations in Toronto
On the heels of Tatiana Maslany’s recent Emmy nomination for her dazzling, multi-character role in Orphan Black, the hit BBC America show, we thought we’d share a look into the many places where the show was filmed in Toronto – one of our favorite cities! The show isn’t just a thrilling sci-fi series. Orphan Black also gives a great, authentic overview of Toronto and some of the best locations and restaurants around town. We’ve put together a Pinterest page of all the famous spots seen on the show – here are a few highlights:
  • A regular location on the series, Bobby's Bar is actually The Cameron House – an amazing bar/hotel/live music venue on Toronto’s very happening Queen Street West.
  • Another Queen Street bar featured on the show is Velvet Fine Food, a pub with a delightfully dive-y ambiance. Cosima meets with Sarah here in episode three.
  • Helena and Sarah have a lunch date at Jim's Restaurant, one of the city’s classic greasy spoon diners.
