Bermuda Welcomes the America's Cup to NYC

Bermuda Welcomes the America's Cup to NYC

The sport of yacht racing takes skill, strength, determination and whole lot of courage, and no stage is bigger than the America's Cup. But for one night, we kept it on land, as Team TURNER helped the Bermuda Tourism Authority host #RaceToBermuda NYC, a private party at the Lightbox in Manhattan to celebrate the forthcoming Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series and the 2017 America's Cup presented by Louis Vuitton, both taking place in beautiful Bermuda.

The event included appearances by America's Cup Event Authority CEO Sir Russell Coutts and ORACLE TEAM USA sailor/bowman Matt Cassidy, among others; music by DJs Paul Sevigny and Bermuda's own Damon DeGraff; and Bermuda-inspired food and beverage tastings from Chef Marcus Samuelsson and Gosling's Rum, as well as champagne courtesy of Moët & Chandon. Check out the social scene from the event below, and follow  @Bermuda, @americascup and  #RaceToBermuda for the latest on these spectacular upcoming events.
