Nau Debuts Fall-Winter 2012 Collection in New York City
Last week Turner Public Relations client, Portland-based sustainable brand Nau (pronounced “now”) debuted its Fall-Winter 2012 Collection in New York City to some of the fashion world’s top movers and shakers. Held at the SoHo Gallery for Digital Art, the space was transformed into a two-day pop-up showroom, complete with digital art installations, highlighting the brand’s latest urban + outdoor apparel. Attendees peeped the new offerings through stylized looks and digital displays speaking to the urban commuter, the creative class, those mountain bound and the studio woman. Nau’s Creative Director, Peter Kallen, was also on-site to give editors a peek into the inspiration behind Nau collections through a series of the brand’s Instagram images. Editor favorites for this coming fall were a new wool hoody for men, a sleek down blazer for women, and a featherweight down sweater in a rich emerald green that will be available for both men and women. The two-day affair was topped with a casual cocktail party on Thursday evening where guests enjoyed wine, tapas from Once Upon a Tart… and craft beers courtesy of Six Point Brewery— served in Nau-branded Klean Kanteen Stainless Steel Pints of course! For a behind-the-scenes look at the happenings and travels of the Nau team, join the brand on Instagram at nauclothing.
