Located in the breathtaking, vast and ruggedly mountainous landscape of Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Marmot Basin is a destination that inspires lasting memories. And during the 2017-18 season, you’ll have the chance to experience a new ski terrain here – Tres Hombres. Steep, deep and wide, it’s advanced skier and snowboarder heaven.
Tres Hombres is a large, north-facing and treeless 54-acre slope, which provides incredible advanced, and expert off-piste skiing and snowboarding. Locals and visitors alike have long coveted Tres Hombres. With powder-filled bowls and chutes that descend 1,204 feet, this will be Marmot Basin’s longest, uninterrupted fall-line. Not for the faint-hearted, Tres Hombres will have you dropping into some of the steepest terrain at Marmot Basin and in the Canadian Rockies. Here’s what snowsports enthusiasts can expect when they journey to Marmot Basin.
