BOOSTING KIMPTON FLORIDA'S DIGITAL INFLUENCE

Each Kimpton Hotels property has its own distinct personality and voice — one size does not fit all. In 2019, TURNER was tasked with handling social media and influencer outreach for four individual Kimpton properties (Kimpton EPIC, Kimpton Angler's, Kimpton Vero Beach, Kimpton Surfcomber) with the goal of supporting and growing average rate and occupancy and to drive traffic and revenue through the hotel’s website and social channels.

What We Did

  • TURNER handled all day-to-day content for all four properties’ social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook, paying close attention to each hotels’ guest profile, brand voice and unique offerings. We also sourced UGC (user-generated content) for each property’s feed.
  • We executed photo shoots for all properties, which highlighted everything from F&B offerings to Kimpton Surfcomber’s unique DAYLIFE programming.
  • TURNER hosted several influencers at the various properties. This process included inbound vetting and feeder market proactive outreach.

Results

  • Over eight months, Kimpton Florida social media accounts saw a follower increase of 16-25 percent over the course of the program, exceeding targets provided by the Kimpton brand team.
  • Over the course of eight months, TURNER secured 14 influencers for trade across these properties. These influencers provided reach and low-cost content to populate channels — content that resulted in some of their top-performing social posts.
  • For Kimpton EPIC, the TURNER team contracted five influencers and two bonus earned influencers, who shared a total of 22 posts.
