Hotel Ivy Teams Up With Project Runway

One of 2018’s hottest boutique hotels is bringing some serious fashion firepower to Minneapolis this summer. Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has joined forces with Project Runway season 16 designer Samantha Rei to host a custom couture penthouse studio party on Tuesday, August 7th from 5:30-8:30 PM CDT. Taking place in Hotel Ivy’s Penthouse Suite at the top of the historic Ivy Tower, the studio party includes shopping Rei’s newest collection, plus cocktails and bites from Monello. Ten guests will get the chance to collaborate with Rei during a private consultation on a custom design. Once they've completed the design following the event, each participant will model their custom design at Samantha Rei’s runway show this fall during a second event at Hotel Ivy. But what about those who can’t make the party? Don’t panic. All guests of Hotel Ivy can request a private consultation with Samantha Rei. Rei will come directly to the guests’ room to take measurements and discuss what they want in their custom design. Then the garment will come to to life.
