Best PR Hits of the Week: November 26 - December 2

No time for turkey and eggnog hangovers here at Turner PR. The team returned happy, healthy and most of all, motivated, to garner some incredible coverage for our clients. Here is a recap of some of the best media coverage from last week:
  • Travaasa showcased its business and environmental knowledge in an article featured in the December issue of Entrepreneur. In the article, Chris Manning, the co-founder and president of Travaasa, describes how cutting costs can be as easy as switching incandescent lights to LED lights to save on energy and air conditioning costs.
  • K-Swiss shoes and a duffle bag were featured in the Net News Holiday Gift Guide as perfect holiday options for any versatile athlete.
  • Men’s Journal included the Nau Uptown Down Blazer in their holiday gift guide as the perfect holiday gift for a “mountain-tough but styled” look that can go with just about anything.
  • Obermeyer’s Avanti sweater and Bond pants received some kudos from SKI Magazine, which described the pieces as must haves for layering on the mountain this season.
  • Prevention Magazine described REI’s Traverse Shocklight Women’s Trekking Poles as a must have this year in their annual fitness gift guide.
  • Shape includes a direct link to purchase gear from Skis.com in their online holiday gift guide.
  • A free snowshoeing offer in Estes Park turned some heads at Women’s Adventure Magazine. The publication describes the experience as the perfect opportunity for “adventurous groups of women” to extend or begin their snowshoeing expertise.
  • Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole gained coverage in Conde Nast’s HotelChatter.com for its epic adventures, specifically the resort’s Wildlife Safaris. In addition, the article details information about The Handle Bar, mentions the new “Green with Envy” package and includes multiple color images of the resort. The story was also the leading article on the Hotel Chatter Newsletter.
  •  The 2013 Mountain Guide section of Skiing Magazine features the impressive chutes of Moonlight Basin. The Headwaters is called out for its “smathering” of high-angle alleys on the north side of Lone Peak
