Westin Austin Downtown's Lean '17

Westin Austin Downtown's Lean '17
With 2016 quickly coming to a close, many are looking towards resetting and beginning 2017 with some refreshing healthy life choices. In January,  Westin Austin Downtown helps guests kickstart New Year’s resolutions with  Lean Seventeen, a week-long wellness program available for guests of the hotel beginning Monday, January 2. With the perfect climate to defrost and get outside this winter, Austin’s average temperature in January is in the temperate mid-60s. Each day, guests can participate in a different activities that focus on refreshing the mind, body, or soul. The program is set to include:
  • Class by Crossfit Central (consistently ranked one of the top crossfit gyms in the country);
  • Yoga with a View: Morning class on the highest rooftop pool deck in Austin;
  • Guided runs on the tree-lined Lady Bird Lake trail (watch for swimming turtles, Austin’s signature bats under the bridge + a McConaughey sighting…) with the hotel’s dedicated Run Concierge, and gear from New Balance available to guests;
  • A guided hike through Barton Creek Greenbelt;
  • Juicing Class;
  • Seminar with Chef Michael Cerrie, Executive Chef of Stella San Jac – focusing on how to make healthy eating also DELICIOUS.
The best part? All of these activities are available for free for all guests of the hotel, meaning no excuses for not starting the year off right. Throughout 2017, Westin Austin Downtown also offers a  Wellness Experience, complete with a rooftop yoga session, massage, juice delivered to the guests’ room daily, a SuperfoodsRX cooking class, and more.
