TPR Welcomes Two New Hospitality Clients: Westin Austin Downtown and Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Denver/Downtown

It’s been a busy month here at TPR as we welcome two new hotels to our incredible list of hospitality clients!

This summer, downtown Austin welcomed its newest hotel, Westin Austin Downtown. Just steps from the world-renowned 6 th street, the brand new 366 room hotel draws inspiration from its location in the Live Music Capital of the World by incorporating music into both design and entertainment. As an homage to this foundation, The Westin Austin Downtown focused its design on an instrumental piece of Austin's musical backbone: the guitar. The lobby ceiling and vertical garden mimic the cutouts of a Dobro guitar, while the ballroom floors allude to prints often found on guitar straps.

In keeping with the Austin music theme, the hotel will regularly host local musicians in the lounge area of its beautiful new restaurant,  Stella San Jac, which offers a unique dining experience incorporating the local flavors of Austin in inspired, farm-fresh fare. The new Westin also offers one of the city’s most spectacular rooftops with uninterrupted 180-degree views of the city. A relaxing getaway for guests amidst the energy of Austin, the rooftop is home to Azul – the city’s tallest hotel rooftop pool and bar, which features cabanas and a fire pit, as well as the 24-hour Westin Fitness Studio. Westin Austin Downtown celebrates its Grand Opening on September 24.

Turner Public Relations, Inc. (TPR) is the agency of record for Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Denver/Downtown, a new White Lodging project slated to open November 2015 in booming downtown Denver, just two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center.

As one of the first dual-branded Hyatt combinations under one roof, the 361-room property will feature: Colorado-curated amenities and public spaces including local art and recycled beetle kill wood; high-floor rooms with Rocky Mountain views; a shared F&B outlet featuring craft brews; and 4,800 square feet of space ideal for meetings or social gatherings.
