Style Guide: Coachella 2016

The season of Fs is upon us: flower crowns, flowy maxi dresses, fringe boots! That’s right, it’s time for another Coachella. The music-filled annual event that inarguably started the “ festival style” obsession kicks off again this weekend in Indio, California.  

In its early years, Coachella-goers may have given little thought to their outfits besides practicality (tank tops to avoid tan lines, sunglasses to block sunrays, sneakers to keep feet comfortable). But the festival has since turned into a fashion-filled, see-and-be-seen event. Truly morphing into much more than just a multi-day music concert, it has become the event for bloggers, celebrities, and influencers to parade designers’ newest spring trends off the runway.

Attendees can only hope that their outfits stand out enough in the gladiator sandal-ed, bralette-wearing crowd to ultimately gain them a spot on websites’ Coachella fashion round-ups. Check out our suggestions for both practical products and photographer-friendly must-have items:
